While our fees are dependent on the particualr charges, I am generally agreeable to wouking out reasonalbe payment arrangements commensurate with the particualr charges. For example, the fee for a felony drug possession would obviously be less than that for a mulit-defendant federal drug conspiracy. I would be more than willing to personally discuss with you the charge for our services specific to the felony charge that you are concerned with. However working with a defense attorney for a year he completely changed my view on the crime and punishment. I have only been practicing a short time, but even in that time it is striking to me how often my clients really are decent people who made a mistake (or several) and not the hardened or sadistic criminals that Hollywood (or the state) likes to portray. These folks are fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers and sisters. So often it seems the prosecution forgets this fact and really isn't interested in "justice," just punishment.
